Does anyone else find it chilling that Hamilton was wearing an ankle monitor and still managed to commit such a horrifying crime? It seems like such a tragic failure of the system that was meant to monitor his movements. Poor Ashley and her family—how devastating this must be for them, knowing that someone with a tracker could still inflict such harm. My heart goes out to her kids, who are left grappling with the loss of their mom. I'm really curious to see how this aspect will play out in court. Does anyone here have any insights on how GPS data might be used in the trial?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Ashley Compton's case, and something that really hits me is the community's involvement in supporting her family, especially her kids. Reading about how neighbors and friends have rallied around them during such a tragic time is truly touching. It's so important that they feel the love and support of their community, even as they navigate through this unimaginable loss.
Moreover, it's great to see both the local law enforcement and the wider Charleston community taking such an active role in ensuring that justice is served. It must be incredibly difficult for her loved ones as they await the trial outcome, but having a strong support network must offer some solace.
Are there any local efforts or fundraisers that folks are aware of to help Ashley's family? It'd be good to share those details here so everyone who’s interested can contribute. Sending strength to her family.
Stay safe, everyone. Hug your loved ones tight.
