Just stumbled across some updates about James Rashad Forward's case and couldn't help but think about the challenges his family must be facing. It's so hard to imagine the sense of loss they're feeling. From what I understand, James Thomas Maddison III is the one charged with both Shad's and Akeem Sloan's murders. With Maddison already on another murder charge, it makes you wonder how someone can be involved in so much violence. I can’t help but think about how this affects not just the close family and friends, but the whole Greenville community. It's one of those cases that really brings to light the problem of gun violence. It's such a relief that his family is finally seeing some movement towards justice. But for those who knew and loved Shad, it’s still such a difficult road ahead. Does anyone in the community have insights on how the local efforts are evolving to tackle gun violence after this? I think sharing stories and solutions might really help us understand and support each other better.
