I came across this case and couldn't help but think about how frustrating it must be for Garrett McIntosh’s family and friends. It’s been over three years since that awful night, and it seems like there’s still no solid answers. I understand that small towns like Cheraw might have limited resources, but having SLED involved gives me hope that they're doing all they can to bring justice for Garrett. The fact that SLED took over the investigation because of a conflict of interest with the local police sounds like the right move to ensure everything is handled objectively. I can only imagine how the wait for justice affects everyone who knew Garrett. Sending all my support to them while they still seek closure during this difficult time. If anyone has local insight or updates, I'd be interested to hear more.

I was pondering over Garrett McIntosh's case, and it just strikes me how hard it must be for those who knew him to cope with such a sudden and unexpected loss. The fact that the investigation was handed over to SLED due to a conflict of interest is definitely a big deal. It's reassuring to know that they are aiming for an unbiased and thorough investigation, but it must be incredibly frustrating for Garrett’s family to wait for any new developments. I can't help but wonder about the motive behind the shooting. It's baffling that, as of now, there’s no clear suspect or reason disclosed to the public. The lack of information must be tough on everyone who’s holding out hope for justice. In these small communities, it seems like everyone knows everyone, and that makes it even more complex when things like this happen. If anyone else has heard anything more specific, maybe some who are local, I’d really appreciate you sharing it here. Keeping Garrett's loved ones in my thoughts.
