It's baffling how Jackie Ray Setser Jr.'s case has had so little movement over the years. One detail that sticks out to me is the fact that he was last seen at an acquaintance's house on Kingsport Highway. That area is pretty rural if I remember correctly, with lots of fields and pockets of woods. Has anyone local to Greeneville heard about any searches being done in those areas? It seems like the kind of terrain that might be difficult to search thoroughly, especially if it's private property. Also, has there been any mention from the acquaintance about what happened that day? It's just odd that someone can vanish like that after being dropped off at a friend's place. Thoughts?
