I've been following the case of Garrick Kelly for a while now, and something that's really struck me is how tight-knit the Salley community seems to be in the aftermath of his death. It's so moving to see all the support and love his family and friends have shown each other. I can't even begin to imagine what it's like for Dria Leigh and their child, having to navigate life without him. It's a small comfort, but knowing that Dameun Jeff Sanders was held accountable and justice being served might provide some solace to those affected. The way the community rallied together during such a difficult time is a testament to the impact Garrick had on the people around him. My thoughts are with everyone who's mourning his loss. RIP Garrick.
