I've been following the case of Amy Jo Lambert and Billy Ray Johnson, and I can't imagine what their families are going through right now. It must be so difficult not having any direct charges yet for their brutal murders. What really stands out to me is the camper being locked from the outside. That detail just chills me to the bone. It’s like someone took the time to ensure they had no way out and then tried to cover it up with the fire. Heartbreaking to think about their last moments. I read that the suspects were found in Georgia with the murder weapon but are only being charged as accessories? It’s confusing how that works legally, but I guess it could mean the actual shooter is still out there. I hope the police are making progress behind the scenes for the sake of Amy and Billy Ray’s loved ones. If anyone has more insights into how these investigations typically unfold or where they might be headed next, I'd really like to learn more about it. Justice can’t come soon enough.
