Has anyone else been following the Stephen Michael Seegars case out of Columbia, SC? It's been on my mind ever since I heard about it. I can't even begin to imagine what his family must be going through. I know they’ve arrested two individuals, but what really puzzles me is what could have led to such a horrific act at a student housing complex of all places. It just feels so out of the blue for something like this to happen in that setting. I'm wondering if anyone here has more details on how they were able to track down the suspects? Was it surveillance footage, or did witnesses come forward with information that led to their arrests? And another thing—does anyone know if the police have shared anything new about a possible motive? I feel like understanding the "why" behind it might help make sense of this senseless act, if that's even possible. Sending thoughts to Stephen’s friends and family, hoping they'll find some peace knowing that those responsible are being held accountable. Always tough watching these tragic stories unfold, but community discussions like this help keep the memory of the victim alive and support the pursuit of justice.
