In thinking about Justin Isaiah Chandler, something that struck me is how much he was loved, not only as a talented songwriter and painter but as a genuine, warm-hearted individual. His passion for music seemed to be a huge part of who he was, and it breaks my heart that the world won't get to hear more of his creations. I've read from friends that he could light up any room with his presence, which makes the senselessness of this tragedy even harder to process.
I'm curious if anyone has more insight into the music he was working on before his passing. I believe art can be a powerful way to keep someone's spirit alive, and for those of us who didn't get to know him personally, experiencing his music might offer a glimpse into the joy he brought to those around him. Does anyone know if any of his work was ever recorded or shared? My thoughts are with his family and especially his two young boys—it's clear their father was incredibly loved and will be deeply missed.
