I recently came across the case of Laquan Boatwright and found the lack of information about the circumstances surrounding his death quite puzzling. It's always so difficult for the families left behind with lingering questions. One thing that's been on my mind is how unresolved stories like these can leave such a deep impact on loved ones and the community. While it seems Laquan's 2016 incident at the Orangeburg Shell station was widely reported at the time, his passing in 2021 hasn't received the same attention. It makes you wonder whether the absence of media coverage means there just wasn't much to report or if there’s more beneath the surface that we don’t know. Offering thoughts of comfort to his family—hoping they find answers and peace during such a hard time.
