Hey everyone, I wanted to bring up a point about Krachelle's dad's case that's been on my mind. I used to live in Denver, and I remember seeing a lot of people struggling in the Colfax area. There are numerous shelters around there, but the turnover is high, and it's easy to slip through the cracks. I wonder if anyone has checked with local shelters or soup kitchens? It’s possible he's been there, but even if he was, it would depend on whether he used his real name. I know it's a stretch, but if anyone here is familiar with the area, maybe they'd be willing to drop by some of those places and ask around? Even a small lead could help Krachelle get more information or peace of mind. Just a thought!
Hi everyone,
I came across Rusty Lane Hubbard's post about her missing father, and something struck me that I thought might be worth discussing. I used to live in Denver a few years ago, and Colfax Avenue is pretty known for its mix of activity. There are tons of shelters, fast-food places, and spots that attract a lot of foot traffic, especially early in the morning.
Does anyone know if there have been any efforts to reach out to the folks who run those shelters or businesses along Colfax? Sometimes people who are homeless or struggling with addiction can fall through the cracks even in public places, and workers in those areas might remember seeing someone fitting his description on that day. It might be a long shot, but it's frustrating thinking how someone could just vanish in such a bustling area.
If I think of anything else that might be helpful, I'll be sure to let you all know. Thanks for keeping an eye out and sharing any leads.
