Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact of Dwon Fields Jr.'s tragic death on his friends and family. It's hard to imagine the pain and grief they must be experiencing, especially knowing that he had such a promising future. I read somewhere that D.J. was really passionate about basketball and was known as a "gentle giant" at Bluffton High. It's so sad to think about the bright path he was on and how abruptly it was taken away. What's really sticking with me is how this incident has affected the community at his high school. The students who were with him that night, E.J. Graham and Kylan Simmons, are probably carrying a lot of emotional and physical scars from what happened. I just hope they have a strong support system around them. This kind of trauma can really shake a sense of security for young people, especially when everything happened in a place they considered safe. Sending thoughts to everyone in Bluffton who is feeling this loss. No one should have to endure something like this, and I hope they find peace and support in the community.

Did anyone else hear about the scholarship fund in D.J.'s name? I just came across a local news article mentioning it, and while it's heartwarming to see the community rallying to honor D.J.'s memory, it still feels so surreal that we're talking about a memorial fund for someone who should be going to college right now. D.J. seemed like someone who had the world at his feet, with all the opportunities we often hope for in life. The fact that they've started this fund to help other students continue their education is a beautiful way to remember him, but it also highlights the profound impact his tragic death has had on Bluffton. It's always touching to see how, even in the darkest times, people come together to create something positive. Anyone else feel a bit bittersweet about it?

Hey everyone, I've been following DJ's case and the resilience of his friends stands out to me. E.J. Graham and Kylan Simmons, the two other students in the car, have been through so much. It breaks your heart to think how close they were to losing their lives that night, and the trauma they must be dealing with now. Despite their own injuries, both have shown immense courage and strength throughout this ordeal. I've heard from a few people in the community that E.J. and Kylan were determined to testify and ensure DJ gets the justice he deserves. It takes a lot to relive that night and support a trial—especially when it involves your friend's murder. Sending lots of positive thoughts to these brave young guys. Let's not forget the support they need as well while they navigate life after such a traumatic event. If anyone has more information on trauma resources or support groups available in Bluffton, it would be great to share them here. We need to keep rallying around these survivors and showing them love and support. Stay strong, everyone ❤️
