Has anyone else been following the Thomas Hardin case? I’m trying to wrap my mind around how someone could do this to a person they claimed to love. I read that her so-called partner was the one who shot her, and it’s just infuriating. It’s bad enough that we have so much violence in the world, but when it comes from someone you trust and let into your life, it’s just another level of betrayal. My heart goes out to Thomas’s friends and family. It takes a special light to keep people laughing as she did. I can’t help but think about how often we hear about these stories happening to people in the LGBTQ+ community and wonder what more can be done to protect individuals like Thomas. I hope the justice system takes this case seriously and that those responsible are held accountable.
