Has anyone else been following the case of Cynthia Jacobs from Lumberton? I've been diving into this story, and one thing that's really caught my eye is how little coverage cases involving Indigenous women seem to receive in general—it’s absolutely infuriating. Cynthia, being a member of the Lumbee Tribe, appears to be tangled in this tragic trend. What's even more concerning is her connection to Megan Oxendine and the other women found dead around the same time—Cynthia was reportedly the last person to see Megan alive. This sort of connection can't just be brushed off as a coincidence, can it? Given the circumstances, it's hard not to suspect that there's a connection that hasn't been uncovered yet. Also, I read that the FBI is involved, but it’s frustrating that significant leads haven't surfaced after all this time. Does anyone here know if there are any community efforts or projects trying to bring more attention to cases like this? Public awareness can sometimes make all the difference, and it seems like there could be a broader issue that's just not being talked about enough.

I've been following Cynthia Jacobs' case and can’t help but wonder about the connection to her friend Megan Oxendine. Since Cynthia was reportedly the last person to see Megan before she was found dead, I think there might be more to explore here. Could Cynthia have witnessed something dangerous or be involved in a way that put her at risk? It's frustrating that despite all the troubling patterns in East Lumberton, especially with Indigenous women, these cases just don’t seem to be getting the urgency they deserve. I'd love to hear if anyone else has any theories or has heard anything new from local sources? The Lumbee community has really been through so much, and they need support from everyone to get answers.
