Cynthia Jacobs, a 41-year-old woman from Lumberton, North Carolina, went missing on May 31, 2017, under mysterious circumstances. She was a close friend of Megan Oxendine, one of three women whose bodies were found within a few blocks of each other in East Lumberton between April and June 2017. Cynthia was reportedly the last person to see Megan alive, which has raised suspicions about her disappearance being linked to the deaths of the other women.
