I've been thinking a lot about the role of community leaders after tragedies like what happened to Samuel Isiah Morgan, and I really admire the steps Jack Logan is taking. It must be incredibly difficult for Samuel's family and friends to cope with this senseless loss, and having a voice advocating for non-violence in their corner can be such a source of support and hope. Logan's message about teaching kids conflict resolution is so crucial, and it’s something we should all get behind to spare more families from experiencing this kind of pain. Does anyone know if there's been a recent push for these kinds of programs in McCormick or neighboring areas? It seems like this could be a good way to honor Samuel’s memory by trying to prevent future tragedies.
