I've been thinking about Matthew's love for fishing and how it was such a significant part of who he was. It's just so tragic that he won't be casting his line out on Lake Wateree again. Those quiet moments on the water seemed to be his refuge, a place where he found peace and happiness. It's hard not to imagine the loss felt in those spaces where he used to fish. I hope his family and friends find some comfort in those memories and continue to feel his presence when they're near the water. It's just so sad to think this bright, young life was taken away so soon, and over something so senseless. Sending strength to all who are grieving during this incredibly difficult time.

I’ve been following Matthew Robertson's case, and one thing that stands out to me is the incredible support his family has received from the Rock Hill community. It's heartwarming to see local businesses and neighbors coming together to organize vigils and provide meals. Matthew’s love for cooking seems to have created a deep bond among his friends and family, who gather at Lake Wateree in his honor. It's tragic that his life was cut short, especially because he had so much potential. Does anyone know if they’re planning a memorial event open to the public? It would be nice to join others in celebrating his life and passions, and to show his family that they’re not alone during this difficult time.
