Imagine getting a call in the middle of the night telling you that someone you love so much is gone. For Tray's family, every day since March 23, 2020, must feel like navigating through an endless storm. It's disheartening that no arrests have been made yet, despite what feels like a desperate need for answers. The rise in gun violence in Louisville around that time has been terrifying, and it's unbearable to think of how many similar stories there might be. I hope that renewed attention to these cases will bring forth someone who knows something and finally speak up. Everyone deserves justice—Tray and his family especially.
