I've been thinking a lot about the evidence they must have had to finally catch Dionte Mitchell. It's such a relief to know they’ve made an arrest, but it makes me wonder about how they tracked him all the way to New York. I can’t even imagine the kind of strain this entire process has put on Shaina Mulligan’s family. Her kids and loved ones had to hang onto hope for months, waiting for some breakthrough. It’s a small comfort that Shaina's family can finally start seeing justice being served, but my heart goes out to them during this terrible time. I also hope Flora Mae Gantt’s family finds some peace in this development. They deserve answers and justice just as much. If anyone has more insight into how investigations like this work, I’d love to learn more. It's amazing how things unfold, but still heartbreaking to see how long it takes sometimes.

Has anyone else been thinking about how the party where Shaina and Flora Mae were tragically shot must have impacted the witnesses? I can't stop wondering how everyone who was there that night is coping with the trauma and grief. It’s unimaginable to think of attending what was supposed to be a fun gathering and suddenly being thrown into such a horrific situation. My heart truly goes out to the survivors having to process these events, and I really hope that there's a support system in place for them. If anyone has heard anything about how the community is rallying around these folks, I'd love to know. It’s crucial to support one another during times like this, and I'm really hoping that healing is taking place for everyone affected.
