I wanted to bring some attention to the fact that the victims, Raymond and Jean Ann Brown, were found with some everyday items just steps away from their door. It struck me as incredibly sad to think about how they had just returned from what was probably a routine trip for Raymond's doctor's appointment, maybe even picked up some groceries on the way back. To be so suddenly and violently taken like that, with the keys in the lock and a grocery bag still on the door—it's just horrifying. It speaks to the unpredictability and suddenness of this tragedy. Has there been any discussion about whether the victims or Antonio Smalls were known to each other prior to this incident? I really hope the Browns' family finds the answers and justice they deserve. It’s a relief that the little child is safe now, but this entire situation is just so deeply unsettling. Every detail seems to add another layer of sadness to the story.
