Has anyone looked into the shelters or community centers in LA where Michael might have reached out for support? I've read that it's common for people experiencing homelessness to utilize these resources, especially in a new city like Los Angeles. Maybe there's a chance someone there might recognize him or have interacted with him at some point. It's just a thought, but maybe checking in with volunteers or staff at these places could uncover some leads. It’s worrying that no one's heard from him in so long, and it might be worth seeing if there are any unhoused outreach groups that could provide some insight or aid in the search.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Michael's case and something's been on my mind that I can’t shake. Michael has been known to bounce between Fairbanks and random spots in LA. From what I gather, he's quite resourceful on the streets and had a knack for finding obscure places to crash. I wonder if his extensive time living in different areas has made it extra hard to trace his steps. Another thing I’ve been considering is the transient community in those areas. There are often informal networks among the unhoused, and perhaps folks within those circles might have seen him or heard something. Maybe putting up flyers or reaching out to local shelters in both Fairbanks and LA could lead to some new info? It’s strange that someone who managed for so long to keep in touch would suddenly just drop off the radar. Any thoughts on how we might tap into those networks, or has anyone had luck with similar approaches in other cases?
