I’ve been following Patricia Guadalupe Barrientos Reyes' case closely, and something keeps nagging at me. It's been over four months since she disappeared, and the lack of details about what she was last wearing or any concrete leads is unsettling. I wonder if there's more information that just hasn’t been disclosed to the public for investigative reasons. Sometimes families or LE hold back details, which makes me think there might be more happening behind the scenes. Does anyone else think the silence around specific details might point to an angle they're working on quietly? Sharing her profile on NamUs is great, but the void of info feels odd to me. Thoughts?
Has anyone else noticed the increased use of social media by the police in Patricia's case? I've been following missing person cases for a while, and it feels like Melbourne PD is really leveraging platforms like Twitter and Facebook to spread the word. They even posted a video appeal recently, which I think is a smart move considering Patricia's age and the fact that people her age usually are quite active online.
It makes me wonder if they have some info suggesting she might have connected with someone through these platforms before she disappeared. If you happen to be in the area or know something, even something seemingly trivial, it might really help to give the police a call. Sometimes it's the small details that break these cases wide open. Thoughts?
