Has anyone else been following the case of Alex LaRussa? I find it so strange that his phone and wheelchair were left in the vehicle. It almost seems like he was planning to come back, or at least expected to bring those things with him wherever he was going. The location where his Explorer was found is quite rural, not a place you'd expect someone to just abandon a car without a plan to get a ride out of there. Does anyone know if the police have investigated any of the nearby properties for surveillance footage, or if there were any reported sightings around the time his SUV was found? It’s just baffling to me. It’s been so long, but feels like there’s something crucial that’s missing in all of this. Any updates from locals would be appreciated!

It's been over five years since Alex Michael LaRussa went missing, and I still find it hard to wrap my mind around the discovery of his abandoned vehicle. That Ford Explorer, with his wheelchair and phone still inside, just sitting on a farm near New Cambria feels so chilling. Why would he leave his mobility aids behind if he intended to vanish on his own? I wonder about his connections in Salina versus Great Bend. Does anyone know if he maintained old friendships or had any conflicts? The move to be closer to family makes so much sense given his situation post-amputation, but I can't shake the feeling that relocating might have stirred up something unexpected. It just seems like something had to have happened between being seen that night and his SUV ending up on that farm. I really hope people continue to come forward with any tiny bits of information they've been holding onto. It's never too late to speak up, and even the smallest detail might be crucial.
