Hey everyone, I’ve been following Shannon Olson’s case for a while, and something that's been nagging at me is the location where she was found. The sandpit near 29th Street and Hydraulic Avenue seems so remote yet significant. I wonder if it held any particular importance to the killer or if it was just chosen at random. Could the choice of such an isolated spot suggest familiarity with the area? Maybe the killer had been there before or knew it was a secluded place to carry out such a heinous act. The whole case just weighs heavy on the heart when you think about all the years her family has waited for answers. If anyone has thoughts on the significance of the location, I’d love to discuss. Let’s keep hope alive for Shannon’s loved ones.
