Hi all, I've been following the tragic story of Officer Dennis Crane, and it really brought home how difficult things must have been back then during the Railroad Employees strike. The tension in St. Louis was already high, and for a young officer like Dennis to be caught up in such a violent moment is truly awful. I can't help but think about the atmosphere in the city during that time and how the hostility might have contributed to that fateful encounter. Officer Crane's dedication to his duty, having joined the force just a year before, speaks volumes about his character. It's a stark reminder of the unpredictability and dangers faced by those who serve to keep the peace. My thoughts are firmly with his family and colleagues, who must have felt an immense loss. I wonder how the community coped with such a sudden tragedy, especially during such a challenging period. It must have been incredibly tough for everyone involved. Take care, everyone.
