I’ve been reading up on Patrolman Joseph Zannelli's case, and it just got me thinking about how fragile life really is, especially for those in law enforcement. It's so tragic that an accident during such a routine part of his job—something that probably seemed so normal—ended up costing him everything. I can't even begin to imagine what his family and friends must have gone through, watching him fight for his life after the infection took hold. It’s a stark reminder of how every decision and every moment can change everything in an instant. Sending thoughts of peace to his loved ones who kept his memory alive all these years. Anyone else have thoughts on how these kinds of cases could have been handled differently, or perhaps how the medical technology of the time might have limited their options?
