Hey everyone,
I've been reading through a lot of discussions surrounding Jamie Blasingain's case, and something that caught my attention was his employment at CBG Waterfront. It's mentioned that he was working as a deckhand on the Mississippi River. Isn't it odd that there's so little information about the circumstances of his passing? For someone who spent so much of his time on the water, I wonder if his job played any role in whatever happened to him.
The river life can be tough and full of risks; accidents can happen, and work environments can sometimes lead to dangerous situations. Does anyone know more about the safety standards at CBG Waterfront during that time, or had there been any previous accidents or incidents similar to Jamie's case?
It’s truly troubling that his family doesn't have answers. For someone who seemed to have settled close to family and community, you’d think there would be more transparency regarding any investigation. My heart goes out to his parents and anyone who cared about him. They deserve closure.
Hoping someone might have additional insights or thoughts on this angle.
Take care,

He's my brother he was shot by a guy who he thought was his friend they ruled it justified homicide

I just came across this case about Jamie Blasingain, and it really struck me how sometimes, even when there’s a lot of information about someone's life, the circumstances of their death can remain so unclear. It’s tough to wrap my head around the fact that there isn’t much public discussion or clarity about how Jamie’s life ended. Given his job as a deckhand with CBG Waterfront, I wonder if there were any unusual circumstances present in his work environment that could have contributed to any risks or dangers he faced. The area around Cairo, Illinois and the river can be quite treacherous, so perhaps there’s a piece of the puzzle there that we’re missing. My thoughts go out to Jamie’s family; not having answers must create an unimaginable void. Hoping that by continuing to discuss his story, maybe someone with information or insight might come forward. Does anyone here know more about conditions or safety protocols for deckhands in that region? Could that be a factor?

He's my brother he was shot premeditated murder but they ruled it justified homicide

Has anyone ever heard about the Blasingain case? I recently stumbled upon it and can't stop thinking about how little info is out there regarding Jamie Blasingain's death in Wyatt, Missouri. From what I found, there's no indication of an investigation or anyone being held accountable, which just feels so strange. Jamie seemed to have had a quiet life in Mississippi County, working as a deckhand. It feels like his story just faded into the background without any real answers. Has anyone in this community heard more details or local rumors about what might have happened to him? My thoughts go out to his family—can't imagine the uncertainty they've faced all these years.

Shot obvious premeditated murder but was ruled justified homicide guy only stayed in jail couple weeks
