I can't stop thinking about Carlton Carter and his family. It's so distressing to hear that, as if losing him in the worst way wasn’t enough, their home was also burglarized during such a vulnerable time. I just can't fathom how someone could take advantage of a family's grief like that. It makes me wonder about the extent of humanity sometimes. Imagine being in the process of mourning a beloved family member, only to come home to find your personal space violated and precious belongings stolen. The emotional toll must be unimaginable. I sincerely hope the police are able to track down the culprits. Families affected by such tragedies deserve peace, not further distress. This situation makes me reflect on how important community support is. We need to look out for each other, especially in such trying times. If anyone has ideas on how we can better support victims’ families during events like these, I’d love to hear them. We can't let violence and crime overshadow the kindness and compassion that should be at the forefront of humanity.
