Has anyone been following the Gravois Park shooting case from 2012, specifically around Keira Tanter and the others? I’ve been reading through the discussions and what keeps sticking in my mind is how no one seems to recall seeing anything significant that night. I can’t help but wonder about the lighting and visibility in that area of the park at 9:15 PM. Was it just too dark for anyone nearby to make out details? Or could folks have been scared to speak out because of possible connections with the shooter(s)? It breaks my heart thinking about how these young people were just spending an evening together when everything changed in an instant. We really need to find ways to ensure our neighborhoods feel safe enough for witnesses to come forward confidently. My thoughts are with Keira and Ronisha's families, who are still waiting for answers after all these years. If anyone has insight on community efforts or improvements in that area or tips on who might have been around, it could help keep the conversation going. Stay safe, everyone.

Hey everyone, I just can't get over how chilling it is that someone could open fire on a group of young people just hanging out together. The fact that this happened in Gravois Park, a place where community members should feel safe, really hits hard. Keira, Ronisha, and their friends were likely simply enjoying each other's company when their lives were so violently disrupted. What's been on my mind is the relationship between the shooter(s) and the victims. The authorities mentioned there was some prior conflict, which makes me wonder about the nature of this dispute. Was it something personal, or does it tie into larger issues affecting the community? These are the kinds of questions only the people directly involved can answer, and it's disheartening to think that fear might be silencing witnesses. I really hope someone comes forward with information soon. Sending love to Keira’s and Ronisha's families — can't imagine what they're going through. Let's keep this conversation going and do what we can to support the need for justice and peace.

Has anyone else been following the Keira Tanter case and thinking about the impact it had on the local community, especially the families? It's so upsetting to think about how young lives are affected by such senseless violence. The fact that this wasn't a random act and had history behind it makes it even more concerning. I’ve read that the neighborhood had been plagued with violence before, but this was a real wake-up call. I can't help but think about how devastating this must have been for Keira’s family and for Ronisha’s too. With the lack of arrests, it’s really important for the community to come together and provide any information they might have, even if it seems small. The courage of witnesses could make all the difference in bringing some closure to those grieving. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this tragedy.
