I've been thinking a lot about the atmosphere at that dinner party before the tragedy occurred. It must have been a regular get-together that took a terribly unexpected turn. I feel so deeply for Jessica and their friends who witnessed such a traumatic event. Being surrounded by friends and then facing such confusion and chaos must have been incredibly difficult for everyone involved. It's a stark reminder of how quickly life can change, and how crucial it is to communicate when handling something as dangerous as firearms. My heart goes out to David’s loved ones as they navigate this unimaginably painful time. I can't imagine the weight Jessica must carry, knowing an inadvertent action led to such a loss. I hope she and their friends receive the support and understanding they need.
