I’ve been following Aaron Matej's case since it happened, and I'm struck by the resilience of his family and community who continue advocating for justice. It really makes you think about how precious life is and how swiftly it can change. Every time I drive near that intersection at 13th and 183rd streets, I can't help but think about how many lives were affected by this senseless tragedy. It's been over a decade, and still, no leads strong enough to find the driver? I truly hope that whoever has information comes forward eventually. The pain his loved ones must feel is unimaginable, and they deserve closure. Keeping Aaron, his family, and friends in my thoughts. Does anyone know if there have been any recent developments or new community efforts to push this case forward?
