I've been following the Robin Poindexter case for a while, and something that's really been on my mind is the role of witness cooperation—or the lack thereof. It seems like, given the location and timing, someone must have seen something or heard something that night at Park Ridge Apartments. The community was already on edge with everything happening after Michael Brown's tragic death, so it’s understandable that people might be hesitant to speak up. But after all these years, you’d hope someone would come forward with even a small piece of information.
It's so tough for Robin’s family, having to live with this unsolved loss and not knowing who or what might be preventing the truth from coming out. I can’t imagine the pain they continue to endure. I wonder if there are community resources or anonymous tip lines specifically designed to encourage cooperation in difficult climates like Ferguson was experiencing at the time. If anyone has insights or ideas, I’d be interested in hearing about them. It seems like the key to moving forward might lie in supporting those who could witness in feeling safe enough to talk.
