Has anyone else been following the Everett Crowley case? I came across a curious detail that hasn't gotten a lot of attention: the gap between his disappearance and when he was actually reported missing. It's puzzling that Everett wasn't reported missing until March 2019, almost a year after he was last seen. His mother, who lives out of state, was the one who finally raised the alarm. This delay makes me wonder if there were other signs or cues that people missed along the way. If only someone had realized sooner that something was wrong; maybe the investigation would have picked up some leads. Does anyone have any theories on why it took so long for his absence to be noticed, particularly by those closer to him in Erie? Could there have been some social isolation going on, or was it just a case of people assuming he was laying low because of his legal troubles?
