Has anyone else been following the emotional impact this case has had on Kansas City's LGBTQ+ community? It’s absolutely devastating to see how Dionte Greene’s murder has underscored the constant threat faced by marginalized groups. I recently attended a local vigil that brought together activists and community members who are determined not to let Dionte's story fade away. The solidarity was palpable, but so was the pain. It's critical that we keep pushing for answers and support from the authorities, not just for Dionte but for every individual who feels unsafe being themselves. Just thinking about what Dionte went through and the pain his family is dealing with gives me chills. We need to keep his memory alive and work toward a safer environment for everyone. If anyone has any updates on the case or knows how we can further support Dionte’s family, please share!
