I've been following the Economy Inn case for a while, and something that's been on my mind is how hard it must have been for all the families involved, especially with the constant legal twists and turns over the years. Imagine waiting for justice when that ballistics evidence got criticized and the charges were dropped back in 2016. It must have felt like a gut punch for the families of Trevor Fantroy, Christopher Freeman, Lewis Green, and Danielle Keyes. The limbo for everyone connected to the victims, not knowing if justice would be served, is unimaginable. Even now, with Scott Goodwin-Bey finally convicted, I can't help but think about the toll this entire process has taken on those left behind to mourn. It's crucial that the legal system served its purpose eventually, but I really hope it also brings some measure of closure to those who loved these four individuals. Sending my thoughts to all who are affected by this tragedy.

Has anyone else been following the appeal process for Scott Goodwin-Bey? It's been rough watching this case unfold over the years. I'm wondering how the defense plans to tackle the appeal, especially with the ballistics evidence being such a contentious issue in the early days of the trial. Even though I'm glad there’s a conviction now, I feel for the families who have endured this roller coaster for so long. Trevor Fantroy and the others deserve justice and peace, and it's been such a long road. Hopefully, the legal system can continue to bring closure without dragging everything out too much longer. It's unimaginable what the victims' loved ones have had to live through since 2014. What do you all think about the chances of any new evidence coming to light?
