Has anyone else been following the legal twists in DeJuan Etheridge’s case? I can't stop thinking about how gut-wrenching it must be for his friends and family to see the charges against one of the suspects dropped after all these years. It's been a long journey, and I can only imagine the anticipation and disappointment they must have felt. It seems like each time they got closer to justice, something slipped through the cracks—whether it was the mistrial or the lack of evidence to hold up in court. It's got me wondering how we, as a community, can support those left in the aftermath of such tragedies and hold steadfast in pursuit of safer streets. What are everyone's thoughts on how these cases are handled and what more we can do to prevent stories like DeJuan's from repeating?
