Has anyone looked into the local shelters or food kitchens in the Lihue area around the time Juan Gonzalez went missing? If he had no financial resources, it seems like he might have turned to those places for help or shelter. Sometimes people in similar situations might lean on local community services as a temporary measure. It could be a long shot, but maybe checking with staff or going through service logs from that time could provide a lead. Has this angle been explored already?
