Hey everyone,

I've been reading about the Westside Park Murders, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this had not only on Ethan and Kimberly's families but also on their friends and the whole Muncie community.
I recently came across a mention that Ethan’s older brother, who was in college at the time, had been heavily involved in sports and academics, almost like he was trying to set an example for Ethan. Losing a sibling in such a brutal way must have been unbelievably tough on him. Often, we focus so much on immediate parents, which is understandable, but siblings sometimes get a bit overshadowed in the story.
Ethan's brother ended up working in the justice system, and I can't help but wonder if that was fueled in part by what happened to Ethan. It's like carrying forward a piece of him while trying to help others. Families, and especially siblings, cope with tragedy in such unique ways, right? The ripples of grief can spread so far, yet we're all united in hoping the answers eventually come for them.
Would love to hear more from anyone who might have insights into how the families have coped over the years and any siblings or extended family perspectives. Keeping the candle of hope lit for justice being served one day.
