I've been thinking a lot about how Marcellus Walker was described as a loving family man. It's so tough to imagine the pain his family must be feeling after such a sudden and violent loss. It shocks me that a life so involved with family and community could be taken in what seems to be a senseless act. It's even more unsettling knowing that the police didn't have a suspect right away. Domestic disturbances can be unpredictable, but knowing there was no immediate arrest or suspect must be especially frustrating for his loved ones. I truly hope they find some answers soon, and justice is served. My heart goes out to Alicia and their children—staying strong in such dark times must be incredibly challenging. Anyone hear any updates from local news or family on how they're holding up?
