It's truly devastating to think about the circumstances surrounding Ahkeem Hobby's murder. What keeps haunting me is how it happened in such a public place, right in the middle of the afternoon, yet it seems like no one has come forward with solid information. His kids, Alonzo and Deangelo, are going to grow up without their dad, and that's a pain that stays with you forever. I really feel for them and the rest of his family, not knowing must be incredibly difficult.
I've been wondering if there were any witnesses around that day who might have noticed something unusual, even if it seemed insignificant at the time. Sometimes details we think are small can be the missing piece in these investigations.
