I’ve been following the Kansas City murders from that fateful weekend in July 2017, and I can’t help but feel deeply for John W. Waldon’s family. His death, alongside Andre L. Barnes, just highlights how absolutely senseless these acts of violence are. I've seen discussions around the drug connections, but I think it's important to remember these men were more than this tragedy. I wonder about the impact on their families left to pick up the pieces.
It’s difficult to think what Waldon's loved ones must be going through, knowing that his death was tied up in something so cruelly violent. I’m hopeful that by bringing these connections to light and the charges against Crosdale, West, Harden, and Freeman, there will be some semblance of justice. But how do you truly heal from something like this? If anyone from the community sees this, I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether local efforts or groups are stepping in to support the victims’ families and help prevent such horrors from recurring.
Does anyone have any updates on how the families of John W. Waldon, Andre L. Barnes, and Darren L. Harris are doing after all that's happened? I can’t stop thinking about the ripple effect of such tragic losses. I hope they’re getting the support they need to heal. It's so tough to process how these senseless acts can tear apart lives and entire communities. It's heartwarming to see Kansas City trying to stand strong against the backdrop of this violence, but I keep wondering how the families are managing daily life after such a traumatic event. If anyone knows of any community efforts or memorials being done in their honor, I’d love to hear about them. Sending strength and love to everyone affected.
