I'm really getting stuck on the role of Arline Diedrich in this whole situation. She was initially facing a first-degree murder charge, but ended up pleading guilty to second-degree drug trafficking instead. This makes me wonder about the depth of her involvement and how the plea deals worked out behind the scenes. It’s quite the shift from murder to drug trafficking, and I can’t help but question what evidence led to that decision. My heart goes out to Leon Wilder's family. It must be incredibly tough for them to see some of those involved getting lesser charges. I hope they find the peace and justice they deserve after all they've been through.
