It's incredibly painful to think about the fact that Donnell was just trying to be a good son by going to visit his mom when his life was cruelly taken away. It seems like such a senseless act, attacking someone who was simply getting into his car. The part that really strikes me is how he took a moment to warn his elderly neighbor to stay safe—that’s true bravery and kindness. Masked figures gunning him down in that parking lot is beyond chilling. It’s hard to fathom how these individuals could show so little humanity.
It’s been so long, yet we’re all still waiting for that breakthrough. I can't help but admire Robin Drake’s strength and determination to keep pushing for justice, all while raising her grandson. Imagine waking up each day without answers or seeing the people responsible held accountable. If anyone out there knows even the smallest detail, I hope they realize the power they have to help bring some peace to this grieving family.

I was going through this case today and can't shake the thought of how brave Donnell Drake Jr. must have been.
