I was reading about the Zaela Walker case again, and something about the timeline really puzzles me. How was it possible for Ricky Beasley and Lakeia to travel across multiple states with a toddler without raising any alarms sooner? This is 2018, after all, with cameras and surveillance everywhere. It makes me question the efficiency of the systems in place for tracking missing children. Considering they left behind their phones and other personal belongings, it seems strange that there weren’t more immediate red flags or sightings. It makes me wonder if there was anyone aiding them during their travels or if they had some kind of plan to avoid detection. I hope the authorities continue to push for answers and that people with any useful information come forward. Zaela deserves to be found and her story told. Anyone have thoughts on this angle?
