I was reading through some old articles about the Kokomo arson case from 2005, and something that's been on my mind is how the community has rallied around Michael Parrish and his surviving daughter over the years. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for them to continue to live without answers. The strength and support from neighbors and local organizations seem vital in helping them cope with this overwhelming loss and ongoing uncertainty. It's comforting to know that, although the case remains unsolved, they have not been left alone to face it. If there are folks from Kokomo here, I'd love to hear about any events or memorials that the community has held in memory of Amy, Dacota, Caleb, and Casey. It's these communal ties and acts of remembrance that can bring a small measure of peace to those affected. How does the community keep hope alive that justice will someday be served?
Hey everyone,
I just stumbled upon this discussion about the 2005 Kokomo arson case, and I can't stop thinking about Michael Parrish and what he must be going through. It breaks my heart to imagine the sheer desperation he must have felt that night, trying to save his family but being unable to. Falling from the window while trying to get back inside—it just shows the lengths he was willing to go to for his loved ones.
It gets me wondering, why hasn't anyone come forward yet with more information? There has to be someone out there who knows something, right? Even the smallest detail could be crucial in helping the authorities. It’s been so many years, and this family deserves answers, especially Michael and his daughter, who are still living with this painful void.
To everyone in Kokomo or anyone reading this, let's keep the pressure on. Talk about it, share the story—someone out there might have that missing piece needed to solve this case and finally give this family the closure they desperately need. If you know anything, please reach out to the investigators. Those sweet kids and Amy deserve justice.
Stay safe and keep looking out for each other,

Has anyone else been following the tragic case of the Bell Street fire in Kokomo from 2005? It’s been on my mind ever since I stumbled across it. I just keep thinking about Michael Parrish and the unimaginable pain of losing his wife and children that night. The fact that he’s had to live all these years without answers or justice is just so incredibly unfair. I can't even begin to imagine the strength it must take to keep going after something like that.
I’ve read that investigators found accelerants at the scene, pointing to arson, yet nobody’s been charged. How is it possible for this case to remain unsolved for so long? I wonder if there are any new leads or if the community can rally with fresh support to generate new information. If anyone has any updates or insights, I’d be interested to hear. My heart truly goes out to Michael and his surviving daughter—I hope they find some peace and the answers they desperately need soon.
