I've been following the case of Ernest Mickles in Prichard, and I keep coming back to how close-knit his community is. It seems like everyone in his neighborhood knew him, yet no one spotted anything that day. It just leaves me wondering if someone from outside the community could have taken advantage of his routine. Also, considering he didn’t drive, and he needed a cane to walk, it’s puzzling that he could just vanish. Could someone have offered him a ride under the guise of helping? It feels like the kind of detail that maybe went unnoticed or unreported. I just hope that more people who live nearby come forward with pieces of the puzzle, no matter how trivial they seem. Thoughts?
