I’ve been following the Runnoe case, and I just keep thinking about how genuinely avoidable this tragedy was. It makes me reflect on how vital firearm safety education is. I see so many young people interested in firearms these days, especially with the internet and social media influence. I can only imagine the pain and confusion Daniel must be going through, juggling guilt and the devastating loss of his brother. To live with that for the rest of his life... That's a heavy burden to carry. How does one even begin to process something like this? My heart truly goes out to the entire Runnoe family and the community. Losing someone is never easy, and under such circumstances, it’s undoubtedly more difficult. I hope this incident serves as a lesson for others about the importance of handling firearms responsibly. Sending them all strength during this incredibly challenging time.
