I came across the case of James Mummer recently and can't help but wonder why there wasn't more focus on the Reedsburg lead initially. From what I read, some people thought he might have been staying there after he went missing. As someone who's followed missing person cases for a while, it's frustrating when potential leads don't seem to be thoroughly checked out right away. Given how close-knit some areas can be, there might have been someone who had seen or heard something back then that could've helped. Does anyone know if there were any searches or investigations focused on Reedsburg early on? It's so sad to think about all the time that passed without solid answers.
