Has anyone else thought about the impact on LaShonda Myers’ young son, who had to witness this unthinkable tragedy firsthand? I can’t even imagine the emotional and psychological trauma he must be dealing with. Growing up without his mother, who was taken in such a violent way, is heart-wrenching. I wonder if there are support systems in place for him and others like him. It seems crucial that we, as a community, rally around him and offer any kind of support we can. It’s moments like these that really underline the importance of mental health services. I truly hope that with time and a lot of love, he finds some semblance of peace.
