I've been reading up on Asia Davis's case, and it's truly troubling how little progress seems to have been made after all these years. One thing that stands out to me is how cold cases like hers reflect broader issues within the community. With Indianapolis having a high number of unresolved homicides, I can't help but wonder how resources are being allocated, especially with recent cuts in public funding. How are cases prioritized, and what more can be done to ensure that each one receives adequate attention? I read that the city has a Cold Case Unit with advanced forensic tools. Has anyone seen updates on their activities or if they're making headway with these technologies in general? I just hope Asia's family gets the resolution they deserve and that systemic changes come about to prevent future tragedies from being ignored or left unresolved. My heart goes out to all those affected.
