I’ve been following Darrell Allen’s case closely and am deeply troubled by how it’s still unsolved. Something that doesn’t sit right with me is how the gym’s surveillance footage hasn’t yielded any solid leads. With so many people there around that time, plus the camera coverage, you'd think there'd be a clearer picture of the suspect or vehicle.
I can only imagine the pain Darrell’s family, especially his mom, Carmen, must feel every day without answers. She’s shown incredible strength in calling for justice and trying to end the cycle of violence. The thought of a grieving mother needing to push for information while enduring such a loss is truly upsetting.
I hope someone who knows anything comes forward. This senseless act of violence robbed a young man of his life and left a family shattered. Anyone with insights has the chance to help bring closure and show that our community stands against such violence.

It’s beyond frustrating, and my heart goes out to her and the entire family for having to endure this uncertainty and wait.
